Since I was expecting a package delivery, I jumped up when I heard the doorbell ring.
Two nice church ladies are standing there... looking rather dazed and confused.
Turns out they are Jehovah's Witnesses and they were looking for Chinese families.
Well, while I've got the last name to might lead you to think a Chinese family lives here, my chemically enhanced blond hair, my Norwegian blue eyes and my Germanic figure do little to support this truth. You'll have to come back later to meet the Chinese delegates of this family (and honestly, they'll not be nearly as kind to your door to door approach as I was).
So, perhaps you might have better luck at the local Chinese restaurant...but then again, maybe not. (as I recall the most recent visit to the local Asian restaurant was filled with Hispanic cooks)
*what can I say? It's a slow start to the week for blogging.

Why were they looking for Chinese families? We Mormons will take anyone... What's that all about?
Funny. I occasionally get weird a look when someone meets me for the first time, only knowing that my last name is "LeMay". They expect to meet someone who looks French....
Oh, I'm glad they could make it when they came by a couple days ago I mentioned that while I was perfect the Changs on the other side of the park needed their help...hahahaha
seriously, when they came by they made a little girl do their spiel...so of course I had to listen and be nice because it was a child...
Ahh come on...you couldn't at least invite them in for some tea in little white cups and fortune cookies? Just where are your manners these days. Haha.
