On tuesday lifetime had a movie about autistic kiddos...i cried and and cried...it was inspirational (and yes i know i should have been studying)...i think thing 1 is a great kiddo!
The world would be a lot less interesting without our quirky kids in it, right? 1 in 150? Wow, I guess I didn't know it was that high. Maybe I'm not so far off with DD1???
I once read a wonderful book on Autism, it was written by a mother about her son...It was beautiful...I have never forgotten it !
I was not aware that it's autism awareness day! TZ, was that movie "Autism, the Musical" I need to see that. As a matter of fact, in honor of Autism Awareness day, I'll hop on over to the library website and do that.
It was the lady that started some foundation...her son was a runner her other son played music, they were twin autistic boys...
Here's to you Miss. Martha, for fighting the good fight - with equal measures of strength and humor. You're amazing.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 139:14We rejoice with you in the blessings God has given you in the person and work of both P and M! They are both wonderful kids and we love them both - quirks or no quirks!Hugs to you all for the mountains you have climbed and for the beautiful views you have from the tops of those mountains.Laura
